Hibiscus Rose Whipped Tallow Butter

Crafted with care in small batches, this luxurious butter begins with sustainably sourced, home rendered beef tallow, rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and treasured for its ability to deeply moisturize and protect the skin. To elevate its restorative qualities, the tallow is slowly infused with hibiscus, marshmallow root, and rose petals along with organic comfrey and organic calendula, botanicals long appreciated for their gentle, skin nourishing properties.

The infusion is then blended with nourishing jojoba oil, softening castor oil, and a touch of arrowroot powder to create a silky, non-greasy finish. Hibiscus powder and rose powder are added for their naturally beautiful color and botanical richness, while rose geranium essential oil provides a soft, floral aroma.

Whipped to a light, airy texture, this butter melts effortlessly into the skin, delivering long lasting hydration while supporting balance and renewal.

Why Tallow?

At Rickety Bridge Soap Emporium, every batch of whipped tallow butter is created with care and intention. Tallow is one of nature’s most skin friendly moisturizers that deeply nourishing and is remarkably similar to the oils our own skin produces. By sourcing suet locally and rendering it myself, I create a more sustainable product while saving these valuable fats from being wasted.

Notes on Use & Care

Texture: Because this product is high in naturally occurring steric acid, you may occasionally notice a light graininess as the weather fluctuates. This is completely normal and does not affect performance.

Temperature: Extreme heat or cold may cause changes in texture from fluffy to more solid or melted. Simply store at room temperature for best results.

Storage: Avoid introducing water into the jar to keep your butter fresh. There are no preservatives used in our butters, so introducing water can spoil or cause mold to form on the tallow butter.

Safety: Made only with skin safe, non-toxic ingredients, but not intended for ingestion or internal use.

Filling: Jars are hand piped and may occasionally be slightly overfilled, resulting in a bit of butter on the lid.

Packaging

Each butter comes in a 4 ounce mason jar, labeled with ingredients and designed with simplicity and sustainability in mind. No inner seals, no excess plastic. Just a simple reusable glass and minimal packaging. Orders are shipped with recyclable shredded paper and biodegradable packing peanuts whenever possible.

Natural Products & Weather

Because I don’t use stabilizers or preservatives, my products are truly natural and a little more sensitive to temperature changes. Extreme heat may cause tallow butters to melt, while cold weather can cause them to freeze. If your butter arrives melted, simply pop it in the fridge for a few minutes to firm it up again. It may take on a slightly grainy texture after temperature changes, but rest assured, it’s still perfectly safe and wonderfully nourishing for your skin.
