Ingredients and Packaging
I believe that what goes into my soap—and how it’s wrapped—matters just as much as how it feels in your hands. That’s why I keep my ingredients simple, wholesome, and thoughtfully chosen, and my packaging as minimal and eco-friendly as possible.
Ingredients You Can Trust:
Each bar begins with a blend of nourishing oils such as locally sourced tallow, lard, olive oil, coconut oil, and castor oil. From there, I may add botanicals, herbs, clays, oatmeal, or milk for extra character and skin benefits. For fragrance, I use either essential oils or skin-safe fragrance oils, and for color, I choose natural or cosmetic-grade colorants. Every recipe is made from scratch, and no lye remains in the final bar.
Whipped Tallow Butter Ingredients
My whipped tallow butters are made with rendered beef tallow that I source locally and render myself, keeping the tallow wholesome and true. To this base, I blend in lightweight, nourishing oils like olive or jojoba, as well as castor oil, depending on the recipe. Most of my tallow butters are infused with herbs, a few have added essential oils, while others are left unscented for sensitive skin. The result is a rich, creamy butter that melts into the skin, offering deep moisture without feeling heavy.
Packaging with Purpose:
My soaps are wrapped as simply as possible—usually wrapped in a simple cardstock band or in an unbleached coffee filter with a label listing the ingredients. For shipping, I reuse and recycle materials whenever I can, from shredded paper and cardboard to biodegradable packing peanuts if needed. I avoid plastics as much as possible and keep packaging light, so your order is protected without adding unnecessary waste.
Every detail, from ingredients to wrapping, is chosen with care—for your skin, your home, and the earth we share.
