Notes on Use & Care

Texture: Because this is a natural, preservative-free product, you may occasionally notice a light graininess. This is completely normal and does not affect performance.

Temperature: Extreme heat or cold may cause changes in texture — from fluffy to more solid or melted. Simply store at room temperature for best results.

Storage: Avoid introducing water into the jar to keep your butter fresh.

Safety: Made only with skin-safe, non-toxic ingredients, but not intended for ingestion or internal use.

Filling: Jars are hand-packed and may occasionally be slightly overfilled, resulting in a bit of butter on the lid.
Natural Products & Weather
Because I don’t use stabilizers or preservatives, my products are truly natural and a little more sensitive to temperature changes. Extreme heat may cause tallow butters to melt, while cold weather can cause them to freeze. If your butter arrives melted, simply pop it in the fridge for a few minutes to firm it up again. It may take on a slightly grainy texture after temperature changes, but rest assured, it’s still perfectly safe and wonderfully nourishing for your skin.
Please note: I cannot reship or refund products that melt during transit, so please consider your local weather when ordering in the warmer months.
