This nourishing whipped butter is crafted with care, beginning with sustainably sourced, home-rendered beef tallow—rich in vitamins and deeply moisturizing for the skin. The tallow is gently infused with aromatic frankincense resin and organic lavender flowers, allowing their calming and restorative qualities to meld beautifully into the base.

To enhance its skin-loving benefits, the blend is enriched with golden jojoba oil, known for its balancing and protective properties, and castor oil, prized for its ability to soften and smooth. A touch of arrowroot powder creates a silky, non-greasy finish, leaving the butter light, breathable, and effortless to absorb.

Whipped into a soft, airy texture, this butter melts luxuriously into the skin, delivering lasting hydration while surrounding the senses with the soothing floral notes of lavender and the warm, resinous depth of frankincense. Why Tallow?

At Rickety Bridge Soap Emporium, every batch of whipped tallow butter is created with care and intention. Tallow is one of nature’s most skin-friendly moisturizers, deeply nourishing and remarkably similar to the oils our own skin produces. By sourcing suet locally and rendering it myself, I not only create a more sustainable product but also save these valuable fats from being wasted.

Notes on Use & Care

• Texture: Because this is a natural, preservative-free product, you may occasionally notice a light graininess. This is completely normal and does not affect performance.

• Temperature: Extreme heat or cold may cause changes in texture — from fluffy to more solid or melted. Simply store at room temperature for best results.

• Storage: Avoid introducing water into the jar to keep your butter fresh.

• Safety: Made only with skin-safe, non-toxic ingredients, but not intended for ingestion or internal use.

• Filling: Jars are hand-packed and may occasionally be slightly overfilled, resulting in a bit of butter on the lid.

Packaging

Each butter comes in a 4 ounce mason jar, labeled with ingredients and designed with simplicity and sustainability in mind. No inner seals, no excess plastic — just clean, reusable glass and minimal packaging. Orders are shipped with recyclable shredded paper and biodegradable packing peanuts whenever possible.

Natural Products & Weather

Because I don’t use stabilizers or preservatives, my products are truly natural—and a little more sensitive to temperature changes. Extreme heat may cause tallow butters to melt, while cold weather can cause them to freeze. If your butter arrives melted, simply pop it in the fridge for a few minutes to firm it up again. It may take on a slightly grainy texture after temperature changes, but rest assured, it’s still perfectly safe and wonderfully nourishing for your skin.
