100% Pure Beef Tallow (for cosmetic use)

Have you ever wanted to make your own tallow products, but don't want the hassle of rendering your own? Well here is your chance! We are now offering jars of our pure tallow for sale! These 8 fluid ounce mason jars contain over 5 ounces of our pure tallow. Try your hand at products like tallow lip balm, whipped tallow, tallow salve, and so much more! Unfortunately, these are only for cosmetic use and not for consumption. While they are pure, there are a ton of rules and regulations regarding tallow for consumption. 

Why Tallow?

At Rickety Bridge Soap Emporium, every batch of whipped tallow butter is created with care and intention. Tallow is one of nature’s most skin friendly moisturizers, deeply nourishing and remarkably similar to the oils our own skin produces. By sourcing suet locally and rendering it myself, I not only create a more sustainable product but also save these valuable fats from being wasted.

Notes on Use & Care

• Texture: Because this is a natural, preservative free product, you may occasionally notice a light graininess. This is completely normal and does not affect performance.

• Temperature: Extreme heat or cold may cause changes in texture. Simply store at room temperature for best results.

• Storage: Keep in a cool dry area

• Safety: Made only with pure tallow, however this product is not intended for ingestion or internal use. There is unfortunately too many hoops and a lot of red tape to go through to get our tallow approved for internal use or for food use.

Packaging

Our 100% Pure Beef Tallow comes in a 8 ounce mason jar, labeled with ingredients and designed with simplicity and sustainability in mind. No inner seals, no excess plastic, just clean, reusable glass and minimal packaging. Orders are shipped with recyclable shredded paper and biodegradable packing peanuts whenever possible.

Natural Products & Weather

Because I don’t use stabilizers or preservatives, my products are truly natural and a little more sensitive to temperature changes. Extreme heat may cause tallow to melt, while cold weather can cause them to freeze. If your tallow arrives melted, simply pop it in the fridge for a few minutes to firm it up again. It may take on a slightly grainy texture after temperature changes, but rest assured, it’s still perfectly safe and wonderfully nourishing for your skin.

Please note: I cannot reship or refund products that melt during transit, so please consider your local weather when ordering in the warmer months.
